Community Engagement Specialist
Kim and her husband, Jonathan, relocated to the Stanislaus County area in 2016 to serve as Lead Pastors in a local church. With a background in education, Kim spent several years as an administrator at Modesto Christian School before stepping into the role of part-time Children's Pastor at Cornerstone Community Church in 2024.
Kim is deeply passionate about serving others, helping them thrive, and empowering them to become all that God designed them to be. She is committed to her family, cherishing her role as a wife and mother to three grown sons who are beginning their own journeys in life and careers.
Grateful for the daily blessings God provides, Kim strives to live each day with purpose and a heart full of gratitude, embracing the opportunities to make a positive impact in her community and beyond.
What is your role at Love Stanislaus County?
I am thrilled to serve as the Community Engagement Specialist, overseeing Love Modesto and Volunteer Central. In this role I'll be creating opportunities for individuals in our community to volunteer and contribute to local needs and projects.
What do you love the most about your job?
It's the team! I love being a part of a group that is passionate about their work and thrives on doing it together. With that type of collaboration and like-mindedness, the possibilities of what can be accomplished is limitless. I look forward to experiencing great things through Love Stanislaus County!
What do you love most about living in Stanislaus County?
I deeply appreciate the rich diversity of cultures and ethnicities in our community, especially the unity that emerges when we work together for the greater good.
In what ways do you participate in the community?
I have had the privilege in collaborating with phenomenal individuals to provide meals, groceries, clothing, and a helping hand to those who need assistance. As part of Love Stanislaus County, I look forward to many more opportunities to partner with the incredible people of Stanislaus County to serve our cities.
